Sang Qin is an assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research primarily centers on examining attitudinal barriers like stigma faced by individuals with serious mental illnesses and other marginalized groups. Additionally, Qin’s work aims to enhance health equity and treatment engagement for those with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Specifically, she focuses on developing culturally responsive services tailored to Asian ethnic communities. Qin’s scholarship is characterized by a strong commitment to a community-engaged approach.
