Eun-Jeong Lee joins UW–Madison from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where she served as a core faculty member in the Division of Counseling and Rehabilitation Science. She earned her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Psychology from UW–Madison in 2007. Her research focuses on the psychosocial adjustment to disability, with particular attention to chronic illness, family caregiving, and multicultural issues in help-seeking and service use. She has led federally funded projects through NIH, NIDILRR, NSF, and the Department of Defense, developing innovative interventions for underserved youth and families with disabilities that have influenced vocational rehabilitation practices nationwide. A recognized leader in advancing women’s and multicultural issues in rehabilitation psychology, Dr. Lee has received multiple national research awards and served in key leadership roles within various national organizations.
