Trainings for new performance management platform available in July

The human resources team within the School of Education's Business Office is partnering with UW-Madison's Office of Human Resources (OHR) to launch a new digital performance management platform called the Performance Management and Development Program (PMDP).

PMDP is a new campus-wide software program designed to streamline and track activities and conversations between supervisors and their direct reports. The aim of the program is to provide greater consistency in how performance management is recorded while granting employees greater transparency and agency over their individual performance reviews. 

This program will be utilized by full- or part-time Academic and University Staff employees with a defined or anticipated appointment greater than one year, Limited Appointees, and faculty members who supervise other employees. Faculty who do not supervise other employees, graduate students, and student help employees will not be using this program.

OHR will have trainings for both employees and supervisors on the following dates and times. Everyone is encouraged to attend these sessions to understand how this new system will impact their overall performance management and career within UW-Madison. This will take effect for fiscal year 2019 reviews. Follow the included links for registration.
