Film*Able Films from 2009 WI Film Festival Now Available for Check-out

The Merit Library has received and made available for check-out copies of three films from Film*Able, the RPSE sponsored strand of films about disability-related stories and issues featured at the 2009 WI Film Festival. Another film is also available: Young Freud in Gaza was screened for the WI Film Festival, but did not make the final cut. Please read below for more details.

Young Freud in Gaza: Young Freud in Gaza profiles Ayed, a young psychotherapist for the Palestinian Authority Clinic for Mental Heath, and shows his consultations with a variety of patients, both male and female, adults and children, in his office and during house calls, providing therapy or prescribing medication for depression, stress, anxiety attacks and suicidal tendencies.
